Once inside the guarded gates, Haynes
and his wife, Valerie, become players in a
real drama of murder and intrigue set
against the backdrop of the castle s collec-

man the master of the castle, or the prisoner
of his own unsavory staff? Is he alive at all?
And what of the newly discovered Sherlock
