More than two hundred magnificent, full-color photographs document the enormous productivity of eastern Asia against the background of traditional life and culture. 第一次看久保田博二的畫冊，紀錄東南亞多國。雖然他62年就旅居美國，但是從亞洲人眼裏拍齣的亞洲還是感覺不一樣。對於中國那部分的拍攝相當棒！個人感覺完全把握住瞭上世紀90年代初中國和中國人的麵貌。

评分11/28/2016。上班摸魚。於是認認真真看完瞭久保田博二的幾個畫冊。我太喜歡他的作品瞭，就像他在一個訪談中說的那樣 “I don't say much”。對於欣賞追求新意、著重自我情緒錶達的人來說，也許久保田的作品會略顯無聊／平庸。但在我看來，這種著眼於細節而對社會曆史的平靜紀錄已是非常難得和可貴的瞭。
