每每想起来又会翻一翻，连续三年我的"Book of the Year"。

She brings Muses to her country~

I've never read a novel about immigrants in west America before coz it seems not an appealing topic to me. BUT! Cather shifts my convention completely. I love her use of language-soft and blue. It's not only a sad (or happy?)story about Ántonia, it's about 'patria', movement, race and outsiders. I wanna call out: 'My Ánontina!',like her pa before.

圆满完成在成都的阅读任务。Antonia的象征意味很浓，也很美丽，这种力量从开头一直延续到结尾，即使作品情节后气不足，这种生命的力量依然闪耀。大概这就是女性式的American Dream呗。

文学阅读课要求读的课外书…“I could almost believe that a boy and girl ran along beside me,as our shadows used to do,laughing and whispering to each other in the grass.”画面感好强。很喜欢Antonia，无论怎样都没有放弃对生活的热情，尤其是在最后一章里，不过11个孩子也太多了吧……（。）喜欢看她在农场里劳动的部分，为什么非要嫁人不可，虽然Cuzak是个好男人 T T

小说依然充满了浓郁的怀旧气息，安东尼亚的父亲是失根移民（知识分子）的代表，忍受不了环境剧变带来的失落，放弃了与新土地抗争的可能性。Jim在从乡村到城镇再到城市的旅途中一路丢失，一路寻找，二十年后在安东尼亚的美好乡村家庭生活中重温了长存心间的美好。虽然回不去了，...
