韋恩·韋登

（Wayne Weiten）

研究生畢業於布拉德利大學，並於1981年在伊利諾伊大學獲得社會心理學博士學位，他曾在杜佩奇學院和聖塔剋拉拉大學任教，現就職於拉斯維加斯的內華達大學。

他曾獲美國心理學會（APA）和杜佩奇學院頒發的卓越教學奬，同時還是美國心理學會和中西部心理學會會員。1991年，他協辦瞭美國心理學會提高心理學本科教學質量的全國會議，並在1996~1997年擔任心理學會的教學主席。2006年，他獲得瞭心理學會一年一度頒發的五個國傢心理學教學奬之一，並用他的名字命名這項榮譽。他現在是洛杉磯心理學會的候任主席。

韋登教授的研究領域廣泛，包括教育測量、陪審團裁定、歸因理論、壓力與應激、半球功能特異性以及教育教學技術。他著有《心理學導論》（Psychology：Themes and Variations）以及與人閤著有《人生的心理智慧》（Psychology Applied to Modern Life）等著名心理學教材。
