对美苏冷战背景下不同阵营的敌对状态给与了基于人性的分析，一方面肯定每一个人受造与个人修行的价值，一方面指出敌意的产生来源于因不了解和对自身的厌恶而引发的负面情感的不断升级。我觉得他的分析好有道理不知道思想来源是谁还是说只是些common sense？而社会集体意识总是没有commonsense 和基本的sympathy
