作者簡介：
休斯頓• 史密斯（Huston Smith）,
齣生於一個來華傳教的傳教士傢庭。曾在美國芝加哥大學求學，先後到華盛頓大學、麻省理工學院任教。被公認為宗教史權威，也是比較宗教哲學的領袖人物。1958年齣版的《人的宗教》總銷量超過150萬冊。
