He entered law school following a twenty-year career in industry. While in law school, he taught as an adjunct professor at a private university in Nashville, Tennessee. His teaching and business experience, particularly in the area of process control and continuous improvement provided him with a unique insight into the process of law school.
Today, he is the Vice President, Legal Services of a subsidiary of a large publicly-traded corporation, based in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Steve has addressed a variety of trade and educational organizations, and was a guest speaker to the West Virginia legislature.
Law School Labyrinth acts as a road map to the entire law school experience—from admissions to graduation and beyond. The author examines popular law student misconceptions and helps readers understand the bottom line to law school. More importantly, the book explains the "whys" behind the law school pedagogy- outlining, the Socratic Method, study groups, issue-spotting and learning to "think like a lawyer".
Written in an easy-to understand, anecdote-filled format, this book will become your "secret weapon" as you face the stress, challenges and uncertainty of law school.
