CLIVE CUSSLER is the author or coauthor of more thanthirty previous books, including nineteen Dirk Pitt~ novels, mostrecently Treasure of Khan; seven NUMA~ Files adventures,most recently The Navigator; and four Oregon Files books,most recently Skeleton Coast. His nonfiction works include TheSea Hunters and The Sea Hunters II; these describe the trueadventures of the real NUMA~, wh!ch, led by Cussler, searchesfor ships of historic significance, With his crew of volunteers,Cussler has discovered more than sixty famous ships, includingthe long-lost Confederate submarine Hunley. He lives in Arizona. JACK nu BRUL is the author of the Philip Mercer series.He holds a degree in international relations from GeorgeWashington University. He lives in Vermont with his wife, Debbie.
