总能时不时与Orwell产生共鸣，关于freedom,关于humanity, 关于loneliness和understanding等。真奇妙呀~明明不同国籍不同文化不同环境甚至不同时代，这就是大师的魅力，文字思想的绚丽。

在福州路上海外文书店我买了这本原版书, 有奥威尔六部小说, 包括他著名的"Animal Farm"和"1984"。唯一遗憾的是没有收入他的小说"Down and Out in Paris and London", 不知为何原因。奥威尔很推崇毛姆的作品, as "the modern writer who has influenced me most is Somerset Maugham, whom I admire immensely for his power of telling a story straightforwardly and without frills," wrote Orwell in April 1940 in an autobiographical note.

应该分成六本书讲吧。。。想买作者的原版小说来读，结果找到了这本就买了，虽然挺大（IT狗已习惯翻砖头），但很值
