有多少人是因為Richard Armitage那迷人的聲音去聽有聲書的啊=w=於是本著練聽力的心態到最後完全花癡於聲音中瞭，講啥都不記得瞭...

聽到一個很好聽的beau~tifully。最後八分之一轉摺的N&S即視感

原著作者是個有名的大叔控，製作方請RA來讀，明顯居心不良啊~~很有趣的情節，經典英式誤會隱忍交織的一波三摺的愛情故事，最喜歡公爵在舞會上威脅菲比“我希望你明白一點，不論我說什麼，你都要懷著感激的心接受”，RA那咬牙切齒一字一頓冷峻輕佻的口吻真是……嘖嘖嘖太贊瞭！

這本書拖瞭很久聽完，當然不是因為RA的聲音失去瞭吸引力，而是內容不那麼吸引人。RA模仿各種角色各種口音太棒瞭。

隻有我一個人覺得這個故事挺有意思的麼。。人物設定很贊啊，比Venetia 和 the convenient marriage都有意思。。

Although this is an abridged version of Heyer's work, British actor Richard Armitage makes this exceptionally fun to listen to. The only drawback is that listeners will be disappointed that he didn't read the full-length version. Armitage is perhaps best known for playing the most appealing John Thornton in the BBC production of Elizabeth Gaskell's North and South. He also played the dastardly Guy of Gisborne in Robin Hood, and, a spy in Spooks. Armitage's reading is warm, lively, simply brilliant. He easily voices all characters and regional and class differences with ease and captures the underlying tension and growing romantic interest between Phoebe and Sylvester. The period classical music between chapters adds wonderful, appropriate atmosphere.
