很棒的一本书，看之前思考一个问题，互联网公司如何颠覆传媒，或者说人们获取信息的方式。看完之后很受启发，传媒确实在没落，互联网已经改变了人们购物的方式、获取信息的方式，传媒或是和互联网合作，或是转移到互联网平台上。内容体现意义的地方在于，要有足够的专业度和深度，全球化的今天，很多传媒的品牌会倒闭，可以生存下来的，是少数存在于人们印象中的，极具公信力和垂直化得内容平台。

单从内容上看没有太多新内容（google一下都出来了），有点儿意思的是对未来走向的分析。作者认为谷歌缺乏social skill，处理more art than science的问题时就没辙了。另外losing focus竟然和敝司相似。

Observe 的评价还满公允的，fair and balanced。有讲了谷歌的发展历史，有讲盈利模式，讲和News Corporation ,Viacom,Disney,Microsoft,YouTube之间的比较和其中一些例如早期和Viacom一起negotiation YouTube的acquisition 的细节，还有则是government之间的博弈（最后一章终于提到了China,以及Google从Engineer公司逐步向Media Company的转型。希望以后有空还能细读，这次真的是扫读的（论文快来不及了。

These include Three Blind Mice: How the TV Networks Lost Their Way, Greed and Glory on Wall Street: The Fall of the House of Lehman, and World War 3.0: Microsoft and Its Enemies.
