不到三天破案，还是当年头一次读中译本时效果更震撼，现在再也体会不到那种出人意料的结局了。这个Oxford版本的Explanatory notes，是我有史以来见过的最详细、最追根溯源的注释。

第一部分结束得比较突然，再加上第二部分开始讲的是美国西部拓荒和摩门教，让我一度以为是两个案件，很郁闷～这个故事很悲伤，但这样的结局其实是最好的～
