主角是個很值得挖掘的人，時代背景也夠戲劇性，可惜寫散瞭，流水賬一樣，很多有意思但與主題關聯不大的材料捨不得扔

書本身語言比簡單易懂，關於整個進化論背景介紹的還行，雖然英文人名太多很混亂而且介紹穿插在De chardin和北京人的故事裏麵，所以讓人有點睏擾。作為傳記來說，總給我一種並沒有深入介紹De chardin這個人的感覺。太過流於錶麵瞭。很公式化的傳記。看完之後對與科學和宗教在他身上的衝突沒有深刻的印象和理解。而且關於北京人的發現這塊，明顯作者給瞭jesuit太高的評價。他其實並沒有對發掘工作有很大的貢獻。
