不得不说，对我的区域史观和研究理念造成了巨大的影响。这本书诚然还有不少细节上的问题，但它整个一气呵成，娓娓道来的属性以及精彩的议论都非常值得一读。从中我发现了美国的人文科学之所以还能保持生命力的重要原因。
