Rube Goldberg is known as one of the finest characaturists and humorists in American history. His signature is his "machines" that depict a seemingly complicated way of performing what is typically a very simple task in a very entertaining manner. What is not generally known, however, is that Rube was an avid golfer whose views on the game, as depicted in his numerous golf drawings, reflect a real humorous insight into the many foilbes of golfers that are as true today as they were when he originally started drawing them back in the 1920's. What we have done with this book is to "colorize" the original pen and ink drawings. Also included in the book are several very funny articles he wrote in the old American Golfer Magazine in the 1930's along with many original - and very funny - photos of Rube that accompanied the articles.
