Ever since its creation in 1997, the Historical Monaco Grand Prix has firmly established itself as one of the leading events in the world of antique car racing. Designed to celebrate the bygone golden years of car making, this race unlike any other takes place every other year and is organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco. Only cars manufactured between 1 927 and 1 967 are allowed to enter. Whether driven by professionals or amateurs, over 200 hundred gems (Ferrari, Porsche, Jaguar, Maserati, Bugatti, Lotus...) will compete on the very same grounds as the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix. Renowned photographer Giacomo Bretzel has carefully selected 40 images taken during previous editions, each of them conj ring up all the magic and excitement and glamour of prestige car racing.
