As illuninating as it is, can any of these grip the attention of poicy makers? Can any of these be taught to college students? Policy-makers and politcians are responsive in only short range; mainstream economic and financial theories are dominated by rationality, by hypothetical and hyporcritical euqilibirium and effectiveness theories.
评分現有的經濟學理論不足以應對國傢和整個世界所麵臨的一些復雜問題的情況是可悲的。我們在提高和改進那方麵的理論上應該不懈努力。在具有戰略意義的學科如經濟學上，哪怕稍稍取得一些進展，對整個世界的公共事務和私人事務都將帶來巨大的價值。
