Gottfried BAhm, Pritzker Prize laureate, is one of the most important post-WWII European architects. Famous for his churches, including the church of pilgrimage in Neviges, BAhm's oeuvre also encompasses the full range of contemporary commissions from single family housing to urban planning, or, for example, the Deutsche Bank building in Luxembourg. His buildings demonstrate sensitivity to context and place, whilst asserting a distinctive character and unmistakeable style. This documentation of BAhm's most important works is supplemented by a catalogue of works, bibliography and biographical data.
