In 1790, a platoon of sixty-six British Hussars was slaughtered twenty miles southeast of present day Calgary. Their bodies were sunk in a small lake where the water takes on a crimson hue. Legend has it, the color came from the crimson uniforms. The ghostly troop terrorizes the countryside around modern day Calgary on full moon evenings. What do they want? Why don't they rest?
