Doc Allen is at the end of a rodeo career that never made the highlight films. His career is over, his marriage is over, and he's over 40. All things considered, he hasn't got a lot to base a retirement on. But falling in love with the beautiful girlfriend of a hostile football player can change a lot of things. So can being in a movie about a legendary rodeo clown who happens to be your father. Add a biker gang and an aging rancher who needs help to save his spread from the hated bank, and the result is a romance with a difference.
