Death is a perfection of the eye. 散步漫想。開篇有提到群鳥飛過天空，結尾處自由女神像想到很多鳥撞死在這裏。鄰居太太的死，教授的死，外婆的杳無音訊，這座城市曾經埋葬的黑奴。主人公遇見同學姐姐這段提到的尼采手上的傷疤沒太看懂，是要錶達某種痛苦嗎？
