一直非常喜欢Sidney Sheldon的书，基本上他的书都看过了，最爱的肯定是Nothing Last Forever。开始是在译林看的中文版（大概94还是95年),后来就改看原文版。他的书最重要的特点就是故事性强，主人公绝对是女性，独立聪明又受到迫害或者卷入追杀。。。而且完全没有非常难的词...

整个故事，没有太多吸引力。在厕所里读都觉得很没有吸引力，我觉得就是真的没有吸引力了。每个角色的命运在他出场那一刻，就定了方向的往下走。 sigh...

At first I thought it's another story of an innocent girl turned black after being in prison. Yet it comes out Tracy become a con artist who stole the priceless things from the bad guys. And there is Jeff, the male Tracy be at her side. They got married and have a nice life ever after.

This novel depicts a insanely foolish woman developing into a skillfully cunning con artist, which is wildly improbable. A lousy novel. If it is a movie script, maybe it is ok, can be entertaining.
