聽說法鯊齣演同名電影的男主角，同時所看評論沒一個說電影拍得好的，於是決定看書。書中描寫很詳盡，可使讀者多次産生反胃的感覺。文章結構也很有鏡頭感，很諷刺。讀書過程中，把法鯊代入探長Harry的形象也不失為一種愉悅的體驗，但後來漸漸被連環殺手Mathias圈粉。此人學醫行醫，將自己的專業知識和職業經驗發揮的淋灕盡緻，並且利用一次次殺人的經曆，不忘從殺人技巧、肢解屍體和重新組織身體部位精益求精地磨練自己，從而登峰到達裝置主義的藝術效果。書讀完很泄氣，凶手連續作案10多年，能抓住他，是因為凶手需要停止殺戮。換句話說是凶手不願意乾瞭（病情惡化）。生活中有多少是這樣？扛不住就是輸？

在辦公室一邊摸魚一邊讀，感覺情節十分緊張激烈，非常適閤電影改編。但作為推理小說還是不喜歡這種通過不斷試錯最後找到凶手的設定，來迴反復到最後真凶揭曉時反而少瞭點力道，最後直接通過閃迴揭曉謎底，倒是最後一段的動作戲充滿瞭節奏緊湊的畫麵感，不深究推理細節的話還是好看的。
