I started reading this book very late in the night and was deeply intrigued by the story of Henrietta and HeLa cell. However, the last quarter of the book is not well-written. My heart goes out to the poor injured editor.

内容细节方面我就不说了，很值得一读。首先这是纪实，而非传记或者小说。作者用详细的描述将读者带入了海拉生活的年代，环境，这些细节都是作者经过考证而写出的，而非很多不认真的作者随意想象，揣摩；作者经过十年时间写就一书，期间面对种族隔阂，生活来源甚至生命危险等困...
