This issue focuses on the office of the brothers Manuel and Francisco Aires Mateus. 24 projects have been collected including the Sines Cultural Centre, the Santa Maria Lighthouse Museum, a Hotel in Dublin, the Home for the Elderly in Alcácer do Sal, a Hotel and Restaurant in Biscaia, the Lisbon Central Library and Municipal Archive, a Multipurpose Building in Dubai, a School in Vila Nova da Barquinha, a House in Coruche, a House in Monsaraz, a House in Leiria, the EDP Head Office, a Call Center in Santo Tirso, the Furnas Monitoring and Research Centre, the Parque de los Cuentos Museum, the Bom Sucesso Housing, the Mar de Oriente Shops and Office Building. 深諳圖底關係的妙處，對角綫－平麵與剖麵的經典分割法；把建築抹除建構痕跡，塑造成一個物體；讓住宅內部在視覺上顯得大要靠剖麵上的那條貫穿的斜綫，但是否存在更抽象更有內涵的方式；越是小的住宅，越是擴大空間感受就越讓人印象深刻，這目的又是什麼。
