說不應該從這本開始讀他好像是對的結尾略失望也可能是對他不太熟悉沒能欣賞anticlimax/National Day of Catalonia 911的那章看到有猜測他是否01年之後改寫瞭一點所以纔寫下"those of us who were down below that morning...were in some way condemned to walk in darkness"這樣的話?/Ernst Junger/"I'm returning to where I came from: nothingness."/"Confidence is a poor counsellor."/Udo不斷strategize的時候立場很糾結..

真的是非常好的一個假日小說。特彆吊胃口，因為故事故意低調地繞開瞭所有重大主題（既然反正也被K,B,N等等寫過瞭）。如果去看當時各大媒體評論，主要也隻能復述情節。低調者最華麗！

Roberto Bolano was born in Santiago, Chile, in 1953. He grew up in Chile and Mexico City, where he was a founder of the Infrarealist poetry movement. He is the author of "The Savage Detectives," which received the Herralde Prize and the Romulo Gallegos Prize, and "2666," which won the National Book Critics Circle Award. Bolano died in Blanes, Spain, at the age of fifty.

Natasha Wimmer has translated many works of fiction and nonfiction by Spanish language authors, including Mario Vargas Llosa, Laura Restrepo, and Rodrigo Fresan, as well as Roberto Bolano.
