我觉得这是最好的讲Computational Modeling的书，概念与实践并重，里面提供的matlab代码也很好用

这本书其实可能值四星评价，但实在是和我个人的属性不太配。关于认知能力的计算机建模这个大主题，其教科书一直都处于稀缺状态，此书可谓是填补了空白。与那些高大上的论文和handbook不同，一本教科书需要做的是帮助对此领域几乎不懂的学生了解相应知识，锻炼相应技能，而认知建模作为同时需要认知科学与计算机编程两方面基本功的课程实在是很难编写教材。我个人也从来没有上过这样的课，都是心理学管心理学，计算机管计算机，于是赶不上作者的思路，比如一些知识点的介绍方式与其它材料中最易懂常见的有异，一下子不适应也就算了，关键是根本不觉得作者的写法有什么好。这个领域发展的很快，尤其是近年来机器学习的崛起带来的无比影响，于是2010年的这本书恐怕难免有过时之嫌，还好作者在2018年就要出新书了，到时候我们再来看看如何。
