评分心理学领域比较权威的一本教科书。而且近年的新版本，比较紧跟科技的潮流。除了介绍传统的inferential statistics外，也会介绍一些non-parametric的alternatives. 很欣赏作者的这种态度。书讲得比较浅显，但是很清晰很适合用作教科书，但遇到一些比较复杂的case的时候，作者会推荐你咨询statistician,所以要想深入学习光看这本是不够的。
