与此前的两本回忆录给人感觉不太一样，Winter Journal里有多得快满溢出来的sentiments，这算瑕疵吗？如果是，或许正是因为这些瑕疵让这本书变得有趣，让人看到保罗·奥斯特身体内一颗平凡而真实的灵魂，他对某些方面不厌其烦的详述，或是对另一些方面让人忍不住生疑的闪避

保罗•奥斯特Paul Auster

1947年出生于新泽西州的纽瓦克市，集小说家、诗人、剧作家、译者、电影导演等多重身份于一身，被视为美国当代最勇于创新的小说家之一。

主要作品有小说《纽约三部曲》《幻影书》《在地图结束的地方》《密室中的旅行》《日落公园》以及回忆录《孤独及其所创造的》等。曾获法国美第奇文学奖、美国约翰•克林顿文学杰出贡献奖、西班牙阿斯图里亚斯王子文学奖，作品被翻译成30种文字，他也是每年冲击诺贝尔文学奖的有力人选之一。
