评分各种扭曲人格大汇聚，看到最后简直讨厌死了！！
评分写完paper以后觉得这本书还是有许多值得深究的设计的...情节上大抵像Mr.Chou说的女生在择偶时候可以考虑读一读......但是Isabel这个角色太讨厌，而最喜欢的Ralph在自己的paper里一通分析下来最后也只能用“cruel”来形容了...（或许是当年太成功了才变成玛丽苏范本吧
评分第四次读。Henry James的书如同一座精致古堡，每次探寻都会发现之前没注意过的细节。这次重读，小说无数次重复的两个词determine，success，都是讽刺也是实话，we're heroines of our own fictions and then we discover we are no more than convenient characters. Still we can determine to lead a "successful" heroine life by trying to face real life instead of escaping into another fantasy.
