作为英文的简易读书，是一个很好的选择系列，作者是一个相当多产的学者，从这个系列里可以了解很多非洲的独立后的一些人问的气息，算得上我早些了解非洲的读物，我是对于整个世界都是充满着好奇的，但现在来说，如果没有脚踏实地的走在这个角落，那么阅读无疑是一个帮助我们了解世界的工具，其实这些小书读起来对于语法和词汇的感觉是非常棒的，这使我想起来我初中阶段如饥似渴的读中文的小说的缘故，可惜那个时候自己没有足够多的资源和系统的进行梳理，现在来看，这个系列真的是难得的好的系列，也是很标准的旅行书籍。线索等很容易找到，理解起来不是很费力，生词也很有限，记得一定要用英文的词典来找翻译。中文词典的翻译不一定会十分精确。
