小說的曆史意義確實很重要。Wikipedia上說這是二戰後第一部正麵 [非負麵] 描寫男同性戀而且不以主角被處死而結尾的小說。詞句樸實不華麗，情節也簡單不煽情。結尾感覺有點刻意有點牽強，整個故事波瀾不驚，但讀起來也還是很舒服。

行文簡潔，讀起來非常流暢。和我國現在的LGBT類小說調調很像（落後瞭70年，或許還不止????），但更剋製，也更綿長。需要電子版的書友，請豆郵！
