自從十三年前《獵殺紅十月號》後之後，再次試圖看一本純文字的英文原版書。600多頁，一個白富美的生平自述。不過確實compelling和riveting，清楚明白，不難讀。讀原版最大的障礙是畏懼感，到後來，就不會強迫自己句句精讀，反而比較放鬆。作為一個大報的發行人、美國的鬍舒立，她的生活和全國大多數政要都有交集。她寫個人生活可以剖心剖肺，並不避諱隱私，寫政治人物卻絕不越界，顯示瞭某種令人贊嘆的素質
