西蒙娜•德•波伏瓦 (Simone de Beauvoir, 1908-1986)
法国哲学家、作家、女性主义者。1929年通过法国哲学教师资格考试，曾在多所学校执教。1945年和让-保罗•萨特共同创办《现代》杂志，致力于推介存在主义观点。1949年出版《第二性》，引起极大反响，成为女性主义的经典。1954年凭小说《名士风流》获龚古尔文学奖。她和汉娜•阿伦特、苏珊•桑塔格并称为西方女性学术的三个中心。
已故法国总统密特朗称她为“法国和全世界的杰出的作家”。法国前总统希拉克评价道：“西蒙娜•德•波伏瓦的去世标志着一个时代的结束，她在文学上的成就代表了一个时代思想的冲撞，并深刻影响了我们这个社会。她在法国文学史理应占有重要的一席之地。我以政府的名义表彰她为女英雄。”
