This is probably Murakami at his purest. A master storyteller and at the same time, unmistakably flawed novelist. This book has its fair share of those trademark mundane, dispensable details, but also manages to orchestrate a Byzantine complex where parallel universe, metaphysical existence, and self discovery intertwine. Nonetheless...

情節依舊神秘漂浮，開頭的故事之間沒有明顯的關聯，但越讀越有趣，人物與劇情一點點慢慢開始聚閤，變的鮮明，但村上從來不讓劇情完結的平滑乾淨，他總是稀稀拉拉結尾，讓人很不痛快，但連續閱讀瞭他這麼多本作品，我發現自己不再期待一個固體的結局，村上最有意思的地方是他的創造力，是他讓故事時時刻刻充滿神秘感與新鮮感，引誘讀者臆想的能力。換句話說，我覺得他是個以吊人胃口為創造動力的作者。永遠保持新鮮有趣，喜歡討論陰莖與女人的創新小說哪個人類不喜歡？不過他的作品裏總有種黑暗裏帶著曙光的感覺，比如說這本小說中齣現的田中，是個十分溫暖的角色

What's the connection between this fifteen-year-old Kafka leaving home and going in search of his mother who had gone AWOL with his sister when he was four and Nakata who once lost consciousness from an uncanny accident and then became a cat-finder with a flair of cat language？The plot just fails to strike a chord with me.

看完瞭。結尾有些令人失望。感覺這個是為1Q84 在練手。| so far so good (25%). 村上春樹真會講故事啊！
