相比blithedale这个乌托邦农庄，霍桑更多是在讲一段四角恋的romance。感觉之所以Coverdale从福谷脱离是因为他自己诗人的秉性和不幸的回忆，而不是乌托邦构想的失败。好奇霍桑年轻的时候在Brook Farm有没有遇到他的Priscilla????
评分其中有几章我仿佛在读一千零一夜。笔触还是很细腻的。其中关于女权，政治，乌托邦还是有思考的，放在特定历史背景里去读的一本书。
