Anne的文筆流暢細膩，非常realistic, 錶麵平淡的故事也不乏動人之處。女主角是middle-class woman, 她的雇主屬於upper middle class, 價值觀卻南轅北轍。

三姐妹的作品里，我好像并没有喜欢过简爱， 而相比最初读呼啸山庄时激情与狂热的感动， 到最后，还是阿格尼丝的安静淡定成为记忆里最美的风景。 所以我更喜欢安妮·勃郎特。 故事本身也许并不是最重要的， 难能可贵的是在众多的经典名著里， 真正打动人心的隽永文字是这样平凡...  

这是我第一本读完了的英文小说。 确实想给自己先鼓一下掌，又确实觉得太矫情。读完了它，实在不是因为它特别值得读，而是，我已经读了不下七八本英文小说，从来都是半途而废，或者“虎头蛇身”，这一本捧在手上，从翻开第一页开始，就对自己说，一定要读完它，无论如何，如果...  

勃朗特三姐妹有各自的代表作，在两位姐姐的光环下，安妮·勃朗特就显得有些微不足道了。同样是描写十九世纪英国社会中女家庭教师这一群体的经历，她的书中少了简·爱中的浪漫，多了现实的描写。这算不得是上层的作品，却也是一部英国乡村生活的真实画卷。  

想买，但都没有找到这本书，是在一本《简 爱·呼啸山庄·阿格尼丝 格雷》的合本里面读完的这本不长的小说。善良的家庭教师阿格尼丝与牧师韦斯顿先生的爱情故事。怎么勃朗特三姐妹都爱写家庭教师呢。阿格尼丝两次家庭教师的经历都很悲剧……还好收获了满满的幸福！以及，不得不...
