讀之前我以為會很無聊，但居然很有趣

美國黑人飛往非洲的尋根之旅，要麼膚淺，要麼失望。Milkman在南部浮光掠影地遊曆幾個好客小鎮之後，在充滿敵意的故鄉找到瞭歸屬感。文化根源無法構建有效的共同體，無法解答流動不定的生活。

读了好久，终于读完了这本其实并不算大部头的书……故事到中后部才变得吸引人，前半部分太过平淡，铺陈太多，从普通读者的角度看着比较无聊，很多东西要看到后面才能理解作者的描述意图。不过读完之后，依然感慨万千，这可能就是好书的共性吧——不论阅读的过程如何，读完之后...
