小时候读的，印象最深的这句：唉，可怜的嘉莉妹妹！

人生中的过客们...都过了...

农民工的沉浮，因了一张漂亮的脸蛋和天赋的戏骨神奇地成功发迹。嘉莉的命运出奇地好，赫斯渥这个人物的行事风格和性格变化太突兀，这么惨的命运全是作者给安排的。虚构的痕迹明显。赫斯渥太太及儿女的命运交待得何其了草。不过，第一部小说能写成这个样子，蛮不错了
