15岁时错过的小说 - 看来作为《简爱》前传来营销不一定是件好事啊。读完真的一点都不同情男主角！

简爱里一段短短的介绍，也能演绎出一部殖民历史。两边都无所适从的身份认同。早就失去的通往英国的钥匙。这本书后面的文学评论也不错。Marionette，Antoinette，谁是傀儡，谁的觉醒又烧毁了那座庄园。评论里说非洲的传统认为，死是回归。于是简爱的结局由Bertha的跳楼，轻易的转化成了Antoinette的觉醒与重新得到力量对庄园的毁灭，而她自身的毁灭，反而是她的意义上的回归。Antoinette，Bertha，对姓名的剥夺，也是Rochester最残忍的行径之一吧。
