Welcome to 44 Scotland Street, home to some of Edinburgh's most colorful characters. 评分我要强烈推荐此系列为厕所读物了。内容轻松愉快，章节很短但都是完整的叙事，系列有13本每本300多页，故事也都是连续的所以也不会一下子读完了而感到失落。
评分3星半吧，没他其他小说那么引人入胜。据说是连载的，难怪有些零碎，没事就读上一点，拿得起放得下的休闲读物。人物还是很典型的，在过间隔年的Pat，自恋的Bruce，望子成龙的Irene等等，可以当作了解文化的一面镜子。
