莎翁在宮廷裏解決不瞭的問題總喜歡把人物趕到自然中去解決，荒野喚醒習俗和規範塑造的麵具後的人，正像對於Prospero來說Ariel和Caliban象徵著他的更高更善自我與一個動物般的低劣性同時存在。他迴歸宮廷似乎也不再是因為執政生活的吸引，而是暴風雨化解為平靜後，望嚮從前的坎坷有一種滿足與辭彆感，此時連自然的魔法也不再重要瞭。‘And thence retire me to my Milan, where, Every third thought shall be my grave.’ ‘Every third thought’與說法having second thoughts對比很有意思，宮廷與自然不再對立，疑惑與懷疑也已消失，一個老者對最終死亡的達觀。Signet的版本輕小便攜，很推薦。

评分五分之一的介紹沒看…古英語語法很有趣，莎翁的詞匯有拓展思維的功能…Prospero有點反復無常，所有角色我竟都無好感，隻覺得Ariel很好，因為她說if you now beheld them, your affections would become tender.真是善良又老實做事的精靈啊。
