In 1330 Scotland, two warring clans - the MacInnes and the MacLeans - are enjoying an uneasy truce. The truce is shattered when a MacInnes bride who was promised to a MacLean is found murdered. With ancient enmity flaring anew, the bride's clan wants blood - and vows to seek revenge against the MacLeans. But Lady Isolde, the chieftain of the MacInnes clan, wants no more bloodshed. Secretly, she devises a plan to seduce the MacLean laird Donall and bend him to her will. But everything is turned upside down when Donall decides to have Isolde on his terms - and Lady Isolde finds herself succumbing to his devilish charms!
