作者博論的改編，總體內容一般，有些觀點腦洞開的太大了，很難認同。另外作者對蘇拉是否剝奪了保民官提案權的問題的討論比較有新意，但對於蘇拉時期元老院的權利問題，作者的觀點還是太傳統了，個人感覺仍有商榷的必要。
