这套书真的只适合学文科的人读，书很短而且想讲什么就讲什么基本么有逻辑，所以最好有点背景然后随便读来玩玩

目前看到的牛津通识里比较好的一本，清晰，巧妙。解决了一些疑惑，比如文艺复兴这个理想的、男性中心又（南）欧洲中心的概念构建于19世纪。其实人文主义、大航海、宗教改革都是复杂的大事，居然扎堆在这里，生活在当时大概是快乐并焦虑着吧（和现在一样）

作为早期现代史的入门读物非常好了，不过，作者说Thomas More 之死缘于a political miscalculation，不是很同意

差不多是听完的。其实写得挺无聊的，不带劲！

航海什么的都可以（很generic地）写上个20页为什么文学艺术反而就用十页一笔带过了呢。。
