Peter T. Ellison is professor of anthropology and dean of the Graduate School of the Arts and Sciences at Harvard University. He is the author of On Fertile Ground and numerous papers in scientific journals that have made leading contributions to the field of reproductive ecology.

The study of human reproductive ecology represents an important new development in human evolutionary biology.
