太伟大的一家人，看了真的挺感动的，老布什图书馆，看了这本书再去，感觉不一样

小布什总统对老布什总统的回忆录。如小布什承认的一样，这本书并不客观，书中关于越战和两次伊拉克战争的评价必会引起争议。这是一封给父亲的“情书”，文中充满了对于父亲的敬仰和支持。小布什将父亲当选总统后的笔墨主要花在了他较为成功的外交事务（东欧，苏联，伊拉克）上，而尽量回避了他在内政上的一些失败。作者总统和儿子的两重身份让读者更能清晰评判老布什作为个人和作为总统。

小布什对老父爱的深沉。开篇和结尾都非常有趣真挚，干净利落，还说老克也把老布什当爹看。读的时候确实有文化差异，比如热衷竞选是为人民服务啥的。老布什落选第二个4年总统选举，基本上都归结于外部力量，出师未捷身先死，错的都不在自己。

详细描述了老布什的奋斗，非常生动，值得一读。我听的是有声书，小布什读的。
