挖井故事的英文版，浅尝辄止的道理，4岁的孩子可以理解了

读的是VOX版的，有录音，适合启蒙英语，故事简单但又天马行空。一开始挖的时候，按照中文儿童书的习惯绝对要开始讲道理了，结果完全没有说教，最后的结果也需要孩子仔细观察才能发现疑问，很有意思的书

两个小男孩一起挖宝，却总在接近宝藏的一刻决定改变挖掘方向，与宝藏失之交臂。简单却充满寓意。结尾很轻松，两人从地球另一头掉下来，没有丧气，只是进屋寻找巧克力和饼干去了。与《狼、鸭子、老鼠》是同一个作者，很喜欢他的风格，故事简单有寓意，却也轻松幽默（虽然有时候是黑色幽默），大人看也不会觉得幼稚。

Mac Barnett born to non-farmers in a California farming community, Mac now lives near San Francisco. He's on the board of directors of 826LA, a nonprofit writing center for students in Los Angeles, and he founded the Echo Park Time Travel Mart, a convenience store for time travelers.

Jon Klassen received the 2010 Canadian Governor General’s Award for his illustrations in Caroline Stutson’s CAT'S NIGHT OUT. He also created illustrations for the popular series THE INCORRIGIBLE CHILDREN OF ASHTON PLACE and served as an illustrator on the animated feature film Coraline. I WANT MY HAT BACK is the first book he has both written and illustrated. Originally from Niagara Falls, Canada, he lives in Los Angeles.
