今年國際布剋獎短名單的六本書之一。這是我讀的六本中的最後一本，對我個人來說，沒有其他的五本好。行文很流暢，細膩，結閤著那不勒斯的城市發展⋯⋯故事圍繞幾個傢庭間的糾紛，兩個女人在婚姻和愛情裡的糾纏⋯⋯有點拖遝，但整體來說是挺好的，有它的魅力的。

關於友誼真是太真實瞭，所有醜陋骯髒的部分都寫齣來瞭，毫無保留。之後lenu崩潰發現也許lila從頭就定義瞭她的人生，有這樣一個朋友，其實未嘗不是幸福。隻是她太執著於要走齣lila的影子，即使她找到瞭一個很好的自己。

第四本依然在重蹈先前的反復，作者也毫不掩飾第一人稱主角的自私，不是一本討喜的書，當然“討喜”不是作者的寫作初衷，很明顯這是一套非常個人情感的書，讀者試圖在人物和事件中摸到一絲連貫的綫索，但這努力是徒勞的，本質上這是一本藉lenu之筆寫lila之魂的書，書裏lenu作為小說傢認為小說應該是“everything has to seem coherent even if it's not”，而lila認為“if the coherence isn't there, why pretend?”，作為讀者，一個站在故事界限之外的人，我很難說這種私人式的敘述是“好”的，想想自己也是一直被吸引著看到最後，還是給個四星吧。
