在這本書裏彩虹很難得沒有從她最擅長的戀愛戲入手，而是花更多篇幅去刻畫瞭一個融閤瞭美式青春校園小說和英式冒險奇幻小說的全新魔法世界（雖然彩虹在後記裏說她已經很努力去營造這個故事的英國感，但吸血鬼這個設定實在是太“美國”瞭哈哈）。也許也是因為這個原因所以兩個主角Baz和Simon的感情綫對比她以往的其它作品來說篇幅就相對少瞭很多，但這並不影響這個作品的完成度，主角的感情戲依然是全文最大的亮點之一。這篇的多角度敘事手法和E&P的雙視角敘事手法有些相似，但是更為成熟，從一開始的懸念設置到最後一點一點揭露真相，這種敘事手法非常成功地駕馭瞭整個故事的節奏，總體來說是一次非常成功的風格轉型。

集fan fic大成，what if conspiracy fan theory + delete the unpleasant characters + ship your CP + paro the hell out of pop-culture + mock the plot flaw……然後再虐一下。Ho yay

魔法世界寫的不錯，嗯，但有點低於期待值

能萌得我尖叫打滾的原耽cp少之又少，而這一本做到瞭，光衝著這一點我就要毫無理智地給五星。Baz真的是好可愛的一隻吸血鬼，他們倆所有的互動都好有愛讓人心癢難耐。真是太美好瞭呀老姐姐喜歡看小朋友談戀愛。

這本書告訴我們，隻要癡情少女不愛上變態渣男，世界就不會毀滅。然而即使Lucy不愛上這個渣男，也可能有彆的少女愛上他；即使所有少女都不愛這個渣男，也會有人愛上彆的渣男。所以從全世界範圍來看，少女愛渣男這件事是無法避免的啊。所以所有的預言傢都看到瞭。同樣是間接給德哈黨發糖，這本真是比Cursed Child好瞭十萬八韆裏。Cursed Child有多難看，這本就有多好看。
